U.N. recommends no screen time for babies; only 1 hour for kids under 5

The World Health Organization (WHO) just released its first guidelines on screen time for kids. Significant findings show similar suggestions to the American Association of Pediatrics: No screen time for kids under 1 and only 1 hour of screen time a day for kids under 5. While I think these will continue to change as we collect more data on what screen time actually means for our kids, their health, and our society, I think as parents we have to consider these guidelines and do what’s best for our families. My kids (6 and 7) still get zero screen time, and it’s something that’s really worked out for our family – so it’s really assessing what’s best for you and yours. #parenting #digitalhealth
